Looking around is sometimes not enough. Look up to see unexpected. That’s what I did and saw those beautiful, symmetrical arches of Cathédrale de Lausanne.
Trouble was I didn’t have my tripod with me (!) and the lighting conditions (or lack of light to be precise) required 10 seconds exposure! My favorite solution for this is well documented on the pictures below! 😉 Set the self timer, place the camera on the floor, push the shutter and wait…

Pozerať sa iba okolo seba niekedy nestačí. Pozrite sa aj hore aby ste videli veci nečakané. A presne to som spravil aj ja a zbadal som nádherné, symetrické oblúky Katedrály v Lausanne.
Bohužiaľ, nemal som so sebou statív (!) a svetelné podmienky (resp. nedostatok svetla aby som bol presný) vyžadovali 10 sekundovú expozíciu! Moje obľúbené riešenie na tieto situácie je zdokumentované na obrázkoch nižšie… 😉 Nastaviť samospúšť, fotoaparát položiť, vycentrovať, stlačiť spúšť a čakať…
COOL shot. It is fascinating how it could be build so perfectly.
Nicely Lit place and good eye to spot it Patrik
Thanks sweetheart! I know!! Such things built hundreds year ago… And we can't make proper things nowadays…
